Ordinarily, if there is a valid will, it needs to be submitted along with the petition. The court will then review the petition and decide whether to grant probate,” Steve adds.

“Absolutely. Sometimes, locating a valid will can be tricky, especially if the deceased didn’t keep their affairs well-organized.
